ABOUT ME Hey there, I’m Chad Jordan. I am the Web Design manager at Jack Henry based in Cedar Falls, IA. I started at Jack Henry in 2014 as a web designer with no web design experience. In fact, web design was my least favorite class in college and my worst-performing class 😅. I ended up finding a passion in fintech design. As I worked many all nighters to help myself learn as much as I could about fintech and responsive web design, I was given the opportunity to manage a team of designers and I am loving every minute of it.
Web Design is a part of me now but there was always another passion of mine that never really got the attention it needed. Logo Design was something that I succeeded at consistently throughout my schooling & career. Winning a Student Addy Award in 2009 for Logo Design was the validation needed for me to know that this could be a natural talent and passion of mine. As I gained more and more experience, I had kept working freelance on the side when opportunities knocked. My work gained attention and I have been able to work with some great Cedar Valley companies to start up and/or expand.
Some of my pride and joys include; The Naloxone Project, No Filter Medical Aesthetics and Wellness, Scoopski’s and many more.
On a personal note, I currently live in Cedar Falls, IA, with my partner, Noho Monarch, who also loves design. We have a 6-year-old miniature dachshund named Arlo, a brand new Balinese kitty boy named Miso, and over 100 houseplants (no need to judge; it’s a collection, not a sickness).
I love music, eating comfort food, craft beer on patios, and binging shows like Schitt’s Creek, Destination Fear, Friends, Stranger Things, and believe me, many, many more.
